Buffalo, the Hunt of a Lifetime
Buffalo—more commonly known as bison—roam freely on our private ranch located in Western South Dakota.
These massive animals, weighing up to 2,000 pounds, are agile and fast, capable of reaching speeds up to 35 miles per hour.
From late August through January, we offer prime hunting opportunities for both cow and bull buffalo, making it possible to tailor your ideal trophy hunt.
Being in our native range allows us to offer a wide selection of hunts without the hassle of draw or over-the-counter tags.
With large open terrain where prairie meets hills, this region offers optimal glassing points and spot-and-stalk potential for both rifle and archery hunters.
You’ll hunt where buffalo are most at home—and when the time comes, recovery is efficient with truck and trailer support to get your trophy processed quickly at the lodge.
What to Expect
Our South Dakota bison hunts are all-inclusive 3-day guided experiences. They include lodging, meals, trophy preparation, and storage.

Additional services such as rifle rentals, meat and trophy transport, taxidermy, and butchering are available.
Best of all, any coyotes encountered during your hunt may be taken at no extra charge with a valid South Dakota Predator/Varmint hunting license.
